On an interesting note: This is one hell of a great fanservice episode; If this is what the author is going for. I really like the story here, where Natsume is driven off the wall and has no option but to rely on his friends to save him. He can’t save everybody and he also needs saving. So there. But Nyanko-sensei won’t make Natsume’s reputation any better.

The more I download the 1080p subs, the more I am convinced that it’s not anything vastly different from the 720p videos. Or perhaps my eyes adjusted to the quality of Crunchyroll. How sad. No matter how I wan’t to watch it legally, it just won’t let me. But at least, it gives me faster releases so, yehey for rippers!

Were back with the old story telling formula. It never gets old. The Mangaka sure knows its way into delivering storytelling that doesn’t get old and boring. This episode is a complete detachment from the previous one. Natsume is back in his old life, helping spirits along the way. Yet, I find this cute and light-hearted. Dang, this series is addicting.

We could just end it right here. All of the development this past season manage to apply it here. Maotoba played like the snake in Eden. I’m not sure why he doesn’t get a clue on Natsume’s power. His master seems so. This stand-off between Maotoba, Natsume and Yanko-sensei is beautiful.

There’s little to wait for those who yearn for another Natsume instalment. Despite the discourse of some, I don’t mind having another shot at Natsume’s world. I like that guy, specially when he’s naked. But enough of my tendencies. Does this season worth it? That’s one definite yes.
