Maintaining the standard of Fabulous presentation. Mawaru hit the end-point of the series ending the roller-coaster ride of fate. For a series that delivers a feat of meshing the story into a grand orchestrated plot twist. It is one of those Animes that will ring true to its unique style and story telling.
Can we safely say that Mawaru is the second best Anime this year? People would argue if I call it no # 1. Mami would be sad.
Show’s ending. What’s interesting is that this has been a roller-coaster ride for me. We get to hate, yet appreciate everything that this show has delivered us. Wonderful crazed cast, solid story, and the great amount of detail put in almost everything in this series.
Oh my. Penguind Drum just flipped its direction and yet, pieces fit so well. The finale is turning into one big epic conclusion!
It’s amazing that Penguin Drum can make twisted revelations but manages to keep the story in one tight-knit package and make sense out of them. Foreshadowing and a lot of trolling happened in the previous episodes and we finally get to see the genesis of the Takakura family. Also, let’s not forget how adorable and cute Shouma is. Now I want my shota.
I like that this series maintains a consistent class of visual style regardless of the setting and the magnitude of the story. Although sometimes, the visual cues can often drive a viewer insane in taking in each meaning and expanding it to many possibilities. Shows that I am particularly weak, but fascinated in looking forward on what has to come.
It’s taking that Hanasaku Iroha approach where the series is taking the scenic route on exploring more on the supporting characters than going on the main story. Maybe a few good of you had abandoned watching this, since it’s going nowhere with the main story. I’m just taking what I can while trying to fit the puzzles into the bigger picture, which is starting to piece up. It doesn’t leave any hints of making the big picture revealed just yet.
I felt … happy on this episode. Not that Yuri fields fail to initiate. It’s that we get to see Momoka’s character in the eyes of Yuri’s childhood. This episode is dedication to flushing Yuri as one of the main characters in the series.
Oh I see where you did there. No wonder that her name was Yuri. But seriously, we’re surrounded by a bunch of obsessive, crazy women.
Awww…they’re cute. Er, Ahem. Sorry for not writing episode 12. This series has become complicated that I expected. Too many symbolisims. Too many subtle clues scattered in the entire episode. I can’t get myself to wrap all of this on my own, so I have to seek help with draggle to take on the complex part of the story. Let me try and get things into the plot perspective, which is also interesting.
