This bitch is still in this episode but not annoying as the previous one. The entire episode was rather going for the prelude to the final episode, which will see a conclusion to this non-plot related battle. With so wasted time, I can’t simply see this anything but a cheap attempt to bring the episode with a bang. At least, everybody seems going crazy again.

Kamisama Dolls 11: That bitch needs to DIE!

September 16th, 2011 by Mr.A

I’m almost at the point of closing my VLC and call it a day, get to my anime folder and delete this series. Everything was going smoothly from the start to finish, and I was apologetic with this mishaps and obligatory fan service. With 2 more episodes to go, Kamisama Doll just made the most stupidest, yet, common blunder in Anime at its most critical times. I say, I’m at my wits end.

Kamisama Dolls 10: F*ked Up Characters

September 8th, 2011 by Mr.A

The sensei business was just the tip of the iceberg. 3 episode left (according to numerous sources), Kamisama Dolls still has an ace left to reveal to us. The new character seems to fit in with the story, given how mind fucked they are during their childhood times. What is worse, is that god they fight is living under the Hyuugas basement. Add to that, someone wants to eliminate the old aristocratic system in the village. Things just keep adding up, rather than starting to make way for its conclusion. Oh well.

Kamisama Dolls 9: Tangled Relations

September 1st, 2011 by Mr.A

If this were run side-by-side with Steins;Gate on a premium block, this would have crickets as audience. Damn, Steins;Gate just launch the bomb this week, and I can’t get any less excited on what will happen next. For this one? Nah, it was ok.

Kamisama Dolls 8: Role of god

August 26th, 2011 by Mr.A

It’s like Gosick giving us a premise of delivering a beach episode, yet it never delivered. This episode didn’t bring significant things in the story table, but rather put pieces up for the other half of the series. I’m puzzled on the pacing on this episode, since it went from a beach episode and then it went back to the city. Like going on a middle of a freeway and you wondered if you turn off the iron, went straight back home.  Read the rest of this entry

Kamisama Dolls 07: Tsuioku no Sh?z?

August 18th, 2011 by Mr.A

I was thinking of a more fantasy-eqsue backstory and I got is a melodramatic infatuation of love and sex for a teacher. Kamisama dolls tries to bring a tragic past between Aki and Kyohei that I can’t seem to discern if the show is about Aki or about Kyohei. Aki is the chosen one in this, and does deserve a lot of pampering and angst over what had transpired. Kyohei is merely a spectator, waiting to get loved by his crush. The execution was a bit chessy, if not something that came form a circumstantial tragic soap opera. What can I say, I was expecting something different.

Kamisama Dolls 6: Karakami Village

August 14th, 2011 by Mr.A

In every good thing there are bad things. That’s what is the thing when you watch Kamisama dolls, and this episode didn’t fail to break that. It’s the calm before the storm, and we are starting to set in little pieces of Kyohei’s past and political standings of the people of this such secluded village, on top of forced and stupid out-of-place fanservice that would had been better of being contributing in the story.

Kamisama Dolls 5: To Home

August 5th, 2011 by Mr.A

This series waste no ones time. I like that it is pacing quite well, even with those out-of-place comedic moments. The action scenes are quite done and it really minds the variables of it. It is kept to attention that the public battle will wade attention particularly to those obsessive father and daughter, and it may play a part in the story pot. Thinking of the action, I’m not pleased with the plot armour with Utao’s Keikashi having that sudden saving ability. It’s a bit convenient for a fact for not having that power in the first place. It’s just me, not them. Yet, dang! It’s getting interesting.

Kamisama Dolls 5: Heruma

I don’t know if this is a flaw in Japanese architecture, but I notice that in Anime all bathroom doors don’t seem to have lock in it. Or, why do Japanese women tend to not lock the bathroom door when they are taking a bath? Is this a cultural thing in Japan, that it is being used as a cheap fanserive? Anyway, this episode of Kamisama dolls that the story further, and it bring more on to what has gone at a turning point not shown in the anime. Aside from the fanservice with the boob girl and that nut job of a girl thirst of extreme adventure. I’m quite happy on the development so far.

Why does this series need have a mandatory moe service? So far, the series has a very solid story here, and it would be better if we can get to the meat of the matter, than having to know if Utao gained some weight. Does that put relevance to the story? I can go well with her training, I can sense that it has a contributing factor to the story, but the rest of Utao being “cute for the sake of cute” is just wasting time.
