Deskmoto-kun looked so cute. I love small nerdy characters. I want my shota! Ehm. Out of my sexual fandom, I like how Chihayafuru inserts this small details here and there, while maintain the level of enthusiasm within Chihaya and the rest of the characters. It was also a sweet development for the poetry major.

Chihayafuru 11 : The Sky is the Road Home
Their optimism is so infectious. I love how this series can pass its mood to the viewers. This is a prime example of telling a story.
Chihayafuru 10: Exchange Hellos and Goodbyes
It’s been three days since I watched this. As you already know, I was busy this past week and I may perhaps be on the next. But it wasn’t much of a busy as I was busy today. But hey, I’m back so we shouldn’t be thinking of that. Let’s just talk about team Chihaya’s [...]
Chihayafuru 9: But I Cannot Hide
Man. I really like that TV. How big is it, 70, 80 inches? I bet even if I save up all of my salary for the entire year, I won’t come as close of getting that. But 1080p would be waste for a screen this big. It would better be off getting it when videos [...]
Chihayafuru 8: The Sounds of the Waterfall
I never find the chubby type appealing, nor anything near as cute as this one is. But it seems Madhouse has the knacks to pull things in the most beautiful way, that any characters you throw to them they can make it a perfect beauty. Okay enough with the fetishes, and apologies for the intermittent post schedules, [...]
Chihayafuru 7: But For Autumn’s Coming
Why does this kid remind me of Shautei Ley from Bowling King? It is as if, he’s the odd ball among the crowd of beautifully drawn characters and well enamoured atmosphere. But I don’t label him like a pigeon drop in a newly cleaned white Ferrari. I would rather looked at him as the moe for nerds.
Chihayafuru 6: Now Bloom Inside the Ninefold Palace
This episode reminded me that I’m watching an Anime that is generally aimed for the female audience. Not that it’s a complaint, but I’m starting to see the elements that define the genre of this Anime. In this week’s series, Chihaya discovers poetry and modelling.
Chihayafuru 5: The Sight of a Midnight Moon
I like melodramatic shows. It makes you feel connected with the characters, developing their personality along with you, but this show didn’t do it right – well at least in this episode.
Chihayafuru 4: A Whirlwind of Flower Petals Descends
I kinda admired Chihaya’s strong dedication. It did came out of nowhere, but the amount of effort she put in is serious. It does bring you to see her succeed and get her dreams to come true. Which we all know by now.
Chihayafuru 3: From the Crystal White Snow
My problems with Madhouse being a flashback whore what made this episode so great. But I am really sure that there is no more cute Taichi and Arata for the rest of the series. Still, the series doesn’t stop itself for being a great series. It may appear a bit of a melodrama porn of [...]
