I wasn’t able to write anything about last week. It’s not like it’s bad, I just happen to have no time doing it or in other words: I’m Lazy. This week is the continuation of an intense battle between team mates in achieving their dreams.
Oh that’s cute deskmoto-kun. BUT WHY ARE WE ON RECAP EPISODE! There’s nothing to talk about, beside how bad Chihayafuru sucks at making jokes. Besides, I just want to write this so that my dear readers who haven’t watched or had tuning in won’t have to ask why I skipped this episode. But still, I’m going to rank it.
Having Chihaya won the match against the Queen would just end the entire series right there. But I find it satisfactory that the match ended with a loss. It’s just too shoneny if Chihaya won out of friendship and determination alone, which doesn’t bode well to a serious game as Karuta. However, it did melt some of that smirk the queen had when Chihaya got in the momentum. Sadly, it’s too late.
I don’t have much to say on this episode, beside my title upfront. I would like to complete the title but someone will nag me for being too … vocal. Anyway, this is an important match to Chihaya, she really wanted to win this and will accept any challenge . Luckily, she gets the queen whom strikes nothing but complete accuracy. It’s like a female moe version of swiper the fox. Chihaya is in panic but manage to get into momentum half-way through.
Finally. We’re almost out of the New Year break. My almost at my limit for not having anything new for the past week. With Natsume and that robot anime, it’s been pretty slow and things won’t get into full-gear until next week. At least, we get to see Chihayafuru which is a mix bag for me. Madhouse is at its weird pacing issues and I don’t really get where that flashback is for.
Deskmoto-kun looked so cute. I love small nerdy characters. I want my shota! Ehm. Out of my sexual fandom, I like how Chihayafuru inserts this small details here and there, while maintain the level of enthusiasm within Chihaya and the rest of the characters. It was also a sweet development for the poetry major.
Their optimism is so infectious. I love how this series can pass its mood to the viewers. This is a prime example of telling a story.
It’s been three days since I watched this. As you already know, I was busy this past week and I may perhaps be on the next. But it wasn’t much of a busy as I was busy today. But hey, I’m back so we shouldn’t be thinking of that. Let’s just talk about team Chihaya’s first victory here.
Man. I really like that TV. How big is it, 70, 80 inches? I bet even if I save up all of my salary for the entire year, I won’t come as close of getting that. But 1080p would be waste for a screen this big. It would better be off getting it when videos go around 4K. Ohhh, what more “detail” would it let me see.
