First Impressions: Catstory:Black

vlcsnap-2013-01-03-15h44m12s219Winter is coming, actually, it already here for a while now. A lot of the Anime that aired are mostly five minutes shorts and I don’t cover those types of anime, maybe with an exception to Yamakan. There are two bishounen titles airing sometime this month so things “maybe” busy for me here.

In case you haven’t notice, I will return writing anime stuff starting this season.

If You have been following the Franchise, then there’s not much to expect new

Cat story, or Nekomonogatari to most people is the third installment on the -monogatari series that had helm the great director Shinbo the artistic leeway to do anything he likes. The case is pretty much the same here, granted, I didn’t finished the first two monogatari series. The style and the content is pretty much the same as with the other. The sea of dialogues that often spins into numerous tangets. The lack of a physics engine in the architecture. The Blood-C grade amount of blood. Oh, let’s not forget the sexual innuendos with Ararararagi and his harem of women of various genres.

So yes, there isn’t much to add for a non-fan like me to this franchise. I did enjoy the first two episode, since it did feel more of the first season, which I felt tackles the main story line compared to Nise. But then again, I may just like cats.
