Jormungand 13

If you’re wondering why I didn’t post any First Impressions post for Jormungand‘s “second season”, it’s because this is just a continuation of the “original” series. Practically, this “second season” is a part of the “original” series. Production values are still the same, BGM are still the same, only the content differs. Therefore, I decided to push through with the episode blogs instead. My efforts to write about this series weren’t in vain, Jormungand and its guns is back with bang! Bad pun intended.

Spies, international conspiracies, dissidents, assassinations, mature women using men’s lust to extract information, corporate greed, etc. These themes are all present in just a single episode of this series. Ever since day one of Jormungand, I’ve taken a liking on this series’ plot, story, GUNS, and conspiracies. This episode gave me more of the things I love; it keeps on making me satisfied. The CIA’s operations to get control of Koko Hekmatyar and, subsequently, the HCLI got focus on this episode. It also shown a part of Koko and Dr Minami’s plan: launch a large network of satelites to “complement” the US’ GPS. It also shown factions within the CIA itself. One faction wants to gain control or influence of the HCLI, one wants to eliminate or assassinate Koko.
