Oh god, Hyouka’s OVA was a little unexpected coming from a mystery-loving man like me. But at least we’ve got more Chitanda Eru x Oreki Houtarou femdom friendship and crushing! Again, the stream I’ve got is another poor one, so I’ll just be recycling an image of Chitanda for you to devour on. This OVA is mostly a generally lighthearted pool episode with more of character interactions rather than mysteries, although there are some puzzle-solving Houtarou here. We also get to see Houtarou’s hawt onee-san and Houtarou getting to work as a lifeguard in a pool all due to his older sister egging. The typical narration of Hyouka worked here in this OVA to provide laughs and more of it. All in all, it feels that the OVA isn’t significant to the main series except for the character development.
