Please remind me that coding in C is such a head-ache inducer that watching the Hagure Yuusha no Estetica uncensored stream made my headache worse. Since the stream I got is bad, I would only be posting one screenshot for webspace and aesthetic reasons. This series totally reminds me of Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou primarily because of the story, “interdimensional” and harem themes.

Since I only got a low-quality stream, I wouldn’t scratch much on the topic of the animation. I can say that the character designs are fairly detailed with decent sharpening, however. Background art is still dominated by traditional illustration techniques with a fair amount of CG in support. Voice acting goes well with the characters and the situations. Its still sad though that the background music isn’t audible enough for me to rate it. I’ll have to look for a better video stream for this, then. The story being narrated is generally intriguing enough, although there are tendencies of the harem + ecchi theme combination flagged on the first episode which could turn-off some people. Writing for the event lay-out made sense and helps in the narration. The direction seems to be average at the moment, so I guess I’ll have to put this on the five-episode probation as well.
