Aww what a cute face. One of the biggest reason I like this show is because of him. For me, he is the start of the show. I like his determination and sacrifices that he has done to keep his nieces together. Even if they’re not blood related at all. Still, although the events were altered compared to the manga, I don’t think we will be seeing them in the streets. I think.
I would dig this if it were taking the direction of Bunny Drop. But I have to deal with this 60% fan service every freaking episode. Luckily, there’s none of those bitch-slapping scenes that seems to be the gong to start each episode. The 40% is actually very good, which I had stated in my in my previous posts that I can relate to the show. We got a collage dude, poor, taking care of three cute lolis who were raised in an upper middle class society. How can he get the ends meet is one interesting ride for this show. I don’t think it will do itself justice, but I’m enjoying it perfectly.
I wish there’s a doujin that forced our uncle to do prostitution. That would be dark, but somewhat touching. If only I could draw.
I admit that I am not every sensitive to the paedophile issues that the common society seem to think. But I find his character very creepy. Even his voice is adds to that factor. I never knew lolicons has a very narrow age of interests. It’s even narrower than mine. His character just add fuel to an already heated generalization of the otaku society, which I myself is part of. The fat belly, glasses and the creepy sensation that surrounds this … he can even draw near accurate images just by the voice alone. Unbelievable.
Overall, I’m still enjoying it even if I have to endure this creepy character. I wish there’s more manga that I can enjoy.
Episode Rating: 3/5
