After three episode, I like that this series doesn’t derail itself from the expectation I set last time. There isn’t much going on here. Much of the drama involve adjusting to the new life that awaits them. So how will our male lead will manage and how things will turn from this point on? Despite it’s slow pacing, I am happy with its development.
I like that everyone are putting a brave face for everyone, despite the hollowness they’re feeling. They know that they don’t want to burden eachother, given the delicate situation they’re in. Much more, they’re aware of the financial fragility of feeding the three of them. This is what I like to see in this kinds of series. Unlike bunny drop, which most of the aspect of family are more into the character change of Daikichi. The male lead will have to man up more to the task at hand. It’s easy to tell that they’re all avoiding the topic and put up with everything head on. But still, you need to let some steam lose and from then acceptance will set in.
This scene satisfied me for this episode. I like that the plot didn’t forget the magnitude of the Uncle’s actions. He’s still a college freshman and money isn’t that plentiful. I would bet that the money he is using came from his sister. With things as they are, the very thing that his sister want will be gone with the situation at hand. I am eager to see the male lead struggle and adjust to the decision. I would also like see some moments of rejection on his part. But given that he understands the situation very well. It was more of one-way role reversal with him living the shoes of his sister. But the challenges he faces would be interesting to see.
All in all. I’m interested and I’m eager to blog about this. So far I haven’t seen anyone talking about it, so I guess that would work at my advantage. XD
Episode Rating: 4/5
