Now this is what I like. Planet girl gets the opportunity she never wanted. After the death of his father, whom seem we can safely label as the Pirate King. The Pirate party seeks to the next of Kin for the transition of power. With it, upon the caring hand of a mother whom never bother to talk about her father; whom she seem uninterested to know. The journey of carrying the family tradition of pirating starts Anew.
It’s a nice start. The main character is interesting, given how she doesn’t make over dramatic claim or be overly melodramatic on the situation that has bestowed upon her. She just went by on her everyday routine. Indifferent to the magnitude and the importance of the life-change that it’s about to occur. No. She just goes to school and get’s to serve drinks at a maid café, who offers manual labor over robots. Shouldn’t that be a novelty, plus it’s more expensive? Ah never mind.
The first episode in indeed promising. I like the slow build-up with the main character coming to terms with her destiny. I also like that government allow stealing and pillaging. But in one-piece world, the government approves this in return of favours that cleans them of any political backlash. I think that the series will have two worlds composing of school life and pirate life, which will both be the constant conflict with our main heroine. Ordinary schoolgirl in the morning, space pirate at night. Just like pop starts and Idols. Or is it?
All in All, I think this series will be about our main character being the best space pirate queen . That houmura girl will be her best friend and her biggest rival. It’s a promising adventure series. I’m pumped.
First Impressions: 5/5
