As we got from the ZOH Article, this is the official statement of TV5 regarding the Temprary Sign-off of the AniMEGA block.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT PARA SA AMING MGA FANS:

Mga Kapatid… Dahil sa mga bagong programang ihahatid ng TV5, simula ngayong May 31, TV5 AniMEGA will go off-the-air TEMPORARILY, and rest assured that we we’ll definitely return on a later date.

Para po sa mga aming napaiyak, napagigil, napangiti, napakapit ka kanilang mga upuan… Maraming Salamat sa inyong pag-suporta sa AniMEGA Block, at sa aming pagbalik ay sisuguraduhin namin na ihahandog namin ang Pinaka-Astig, at Pinaka-matitinding Anime sa Local TV!

Para po sa mga galit at masama ang loob, pasensya na po. Pero intindihin nyo rin po na kami ay isang TV channel na pinapalabas nationwide, and we have to cater to all audiences, aside from anime fans. But we will not leave our anime fans behind, Dahil meron pa rin Street Fighter II (Weekdays 03:30pm), Yatterman (Weekdays 04pm), at FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: Brotherhood (Fridays 07:30pm, Back-to-Back) na mainit pa mula sa Japan!

At magda-dagdag pa rin po kami ng Anime programming outside the “AniMEGA Spectrum” kaya ‘wag kayong mag-alala.

Muli, maraming salamat sa inyong pag-suporta sa TV5 AniMEGA at abangan ang aming pagbabalik!
